Waldron, Marion E. (Chase)
Marion E. Waldron, Little Chute, age 99, passed away at Appleton Health Care Center on February 4, 2010. She was born on August 22, 1910 the daughter of the late Alva P. and Julia (Moran) Chase. Marion was a teacher at Fort Howard and Beaumont Elementary Schools in Green Bay. She was a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years. As a member of People to People, a travel exchange, Marion traveled all over the world and had many international guests. She enjoyed her time in San Blas, Mexico during the winter months. Marion will be remembered for being an avid gardener and for her love of sewing.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Jane (special friend, Jerry Mueller) Waldron of Verona; grandchildren: Lawrence E. (Marsi) Clark of Darboy, Michael A. (Jennifer) Clark of Crete, IL; Julia J. (John) Poisson Goodyear, AZ; and Kathleen I. (Michael) Zenner of Verona; great-grandchildren: Kaitlin and Megan Clark, Alexis Clark, Jade and Jake Poisson, Stephanie Pruefer, and Hannah and Emily Mayer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert Chase, Frank (Helen) Chase, Donald (Margaret) Chase, Clarence (Lois) Chase, and Ralph (Eleanore) Chase; and former husband, Gilbert Waldron.
The funeral service with a special service by Eastern Star will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Wichmann Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff of St. Paul Elder Services and Appleton Health Care Center for their special care.
